Happiness is … talking to you

“And how are things with you?” you asked.

I never know what to say, but it’s sweet of you to ask.

  1. Cara,

I have gone through a stretch of unsteadiness. I haven’t written anything for a week or so. And until this afternoon, I hadn’t visited my favorite blogs, like yours.

But then I come here. You are a light to my darkness, always.

You are doing precious work here- for yourself and for others.

    Thank you.

    • I started drawing my doodles for my daughter at first, then for myself and finally I realised how they touch a chord with many others around me.

Happy to hear that they bring light and hopefully lightness to your dark and heavy days.

Smile, Tom, this too shall pass.

  2. Hi Cara. I have admired your doodles and the emotions in it since I first stumbled upon your blog. They are all awesome. What do you use in doodling?

    • Dear Jenny
      Thank you so much.
For this blog, I use my iPad and an app called Paper by 53 for all the doodles. I draw on the iPad then save the image as a photo to post here.
I am not very technologically savvy but this has been the easiest format for me to post them online.
I still love doodling on paper, using gel ink pens mostly or anything I can get my hands on.
Clean and simple lines are what I love best!
Thank you for your support and kind words 🙂
