Happiness is … Karaoke

Happiness is … singing Karaoke.
Happiness is … not caring how silly we look.
Happiness is … not caring how terrible we sound.

A good time was had by all.

We sang ABBA, Beyonce, Queen, Lady Gaga, Whitney Houston, Black Eyed Peas, Keane, Gwen Stephani, George Michael, Michael Jackson, John Lennon, Frank Sinatra and more…

Cockroach Drama

A few nights ago, we had a close encounter with a giant cockroach.
(I exaggerate, and the doodle is definitely not in proportion to reality.)

With some team work and a lot of screaming, drama and bug spray, we got rid of it.
A plastic cup and a piece of cardboard were also ingenuously used in the process.

The cockroach was given a burial at sea (flushed down the toilet).
And I was able to sleep in peace that night.

My daughter asked me,”How did you get rid of cockroaches when I was not around?”
I replied, “With the same amount of drama and a lot more difficulty.”

Courage always comes when you are faced with a difficult situation alone.

Happiness is … a good night’s sleep

I bought a new pillow from Taiwan on my most recent trip.
A pillow that I had slept on at my mother’s home and couldn’t get over how comfortable it was.

I can only describe it as “dreamy”.
To me, happiness is a good night’s sleep.
And a good pillow is essential.

What do you sleep on?
A dreamy pillow?
