A few nights ago, we had a close encounter with a giant cockroach.
(I exaggerate, and the doodle is definitely not in proportion to reality.)
With some team work and a lot of screaming, drama and bug spray, we got rid of it.
A plastic cup and a piece of cardboard were also ingenuously used in the process.
The cockroach was given a burial at sea (flushed down the toilet).
And I was able to sleep in peace that night.
My daughter asked me,”How did you get rid of cockroaches when I was not around?”
I replied, “With the same amount of drama and a lot more difficulty.”
Courage always comes when you are faced with a difficult situation alone.
