Day 329 – April 29, 2013

Back to work Monday.

I am thankful for…

1. Regaining my energy for work.

2. New ideas being hatched up!

3. My closest friends both in for my idea!

4. N & B also keen!

5. Having something so wonderful and long over due to look forward to.

6. Exercising! Endorphins!

7. Taiwan week confirmed!

8. Adding colours to my life.

9. Drinking water.

10. Counting down the next 200 days.

Day 328 – April 28, 2013

I am feeling a bit more rested and my energy level is a bit better today.

On this Sunday, I am thankful for…

1. Pepper being so compliant when I gave her a haircut – she looks good!

2. Finding a very nice and cheap non stick frying pan.

3. Getting my hair trimmed.

4. Endorphins – post exercise.

5. Seeing my daughter happy.

6. A nice home cooked dinner with lots of green vegetables.

7. Saying goodbye to that heavy hearted feeling.

8. Realizing that some people may mean well but their approach might not be right for me.

9. Doing laundry – having the luxury of a washer and a dryer.

10. Living in comfort – I have everything that I need.

Day 326 – 327 ~ April 26 – 27, 2013

I have been overwhelmed by a wave of tiredness that I couldn’t quite shake over the last two days.
Rather than finding a reason for it or a solution, I simply allowed myself to be tired.

I am also questioning myself a lot.
With no answers.

Tired, depressed or just confused.
I am still grateful for…

1. An overwhelmingly powerful “coaching” session.

2. Aloneness.

3. Sleeping solidly for 12 hours.

4. Dreaming about flying in a helicopter.

5. Getting dog grooming tips from a friend.

6. Permission to be imperfect.

7. Realizing that I don’t have to be like you.

8. Phone conversation with my little niece.

9. Watching Pepper play with her new puppy toy.

10. Spending a nice Saturday with N and B.

Day 325 – April 25, 2013

I started off today feeling so low energy and almost completely deflated.
Somehow I got myself to work.
And I was greeted by the sweet kindness of my colleagues.
They were all so concerned with why I was the way I was.
Then Olivier took me out for a coffee, and I was reenergized after a good chat.

I am thankful for…

1. My colleagues.

2. Chatting with Olivier about my presentation at the British Chamber.

3. Sharing excitement with Olivier because he gets SO excited!

4. Feedback from my colleagues that help me improve and do a better job.

5. Help from my colleagues in any way or form.

6. Delivering a great presentation at the British Chamber – on the subject of emotional intelligence.

7. Shopping with my colleague Pelle after a great meeting.

8. Finding beautiful necklaces!

9. Enjoying dinner and a movie on a Thursday night – Iron Man!

10. Being happy with the little things in life.

Day 323 ~ Day 324 – April 23 & 24, 2013

The week had just started, somehow I am a little more tired than usual.
Although complaining does not change things, I feel I have to be more honest sometimes with myself. And I am honestly tired.

I am thankful for…

1. Making tiny progress with my meditation practice.

2. Successful workshops with great participants.

3. My beautiful colleagues with hearts of gold.

4. My puppy Pepper and her unconditional love.

5. Blissfully sleeping till morning.

6. Having good hair days.

7. Fascinating conversations.

8. Doing steps I learnt in tango.

9. Very enjoyable tandas at tango.

10. Listening to people who speak with genuine passion and knowledge.

Day 317 – day 322 ~ April 17-22, 2013

Busy-ness, business and to top it all off, a bout of existential crisis.
All of the above caught up with me and I chose to sleep instead of write or doodle.
Didn’t do me much good, and I am still tired, so I return to my list and my doodles.

Over the past week, I am thankful for…

1. Having a mild case of existential crisis – without one, I would not exist.

2. Meeting someone who frightens me, challenges me but also teaches me.

3. Catching a glimpse of my many other facets.

4. Having a friend who brings me back to earth.

5. Having a family to come home to.

6. Seeing things and people in a new light.

7. Learning about mindfulness, bit by bit, drop by drop.

8. Realizing how much more I have to learn and experience yet.

9. Questions.

Day 315 -316 ~ April 15 – 16, 2013

Traveling is exhausting, but I get to come home to my little family of sweeties.

I am thankful for…

1. A super successful coaching session!

2. Finding my feet as a coach.

3. Sleeping in my own bed.

4. Enjoying a thriller movie and scaring myself silly.

5. Watching my puppy do crazy new tricks.

6. Catching up with my daughter’s week.

7. Spending the early evening catching up with my sister/friend Toto.

8. Learning a lot about caring for dogs from Toto.

9. Bringing business to the company.

10. Paying my taxes.
