Conundrum

We listen to seek understanding.

Or at least we try to.

Yet it is not often easy.

But definitely worth it.

Clueless

There are times when I am just walking down the street, minding my own business when suddenly I am struck by cluelessness.

As if everyone in the world knows what they are doing and why, and I am the only soul here who is entirely clueless.

Then I look around and think again.

Perhaps everyone else is as clueless as I am. And it’s OK.

No need to panic.

Ass vs. Class

Never sink down to their level is what I say to myself.

As Mark Twain once said, “Never argue with stupid people, they will drag you down to their level and then beat you with experience.”

Classiness is not letting them get to you.

Entering a conversation with an ass is the quickest way to become one.

Happiness is … a good night’s sleep

I bought a new pillow from Taiwan on my most recent trip.
A pillow that I had slept on at my mother’s home and couldn’t get over how comfortable it was.

I can only describe it as “dreamy”.
To me, happiness is a good night’s sleep.
And a good pillow is essential.

What do you sleep on?
A dreamy pillow?
